Question 1

How do I know if this is the right time to bring someone in?

Accepted Answer

Most people come here when they’ve reached the point where small tweaks are no longer helping. The site has been edited, added to, and worked around, and it’s getting harder to see what’s actually worth changing. If you’re hesitating because you don’t want to waste time or money on the wrong fixes, that’s usually a good moment to step back and get a clear view.

Question 2

What kind of organisations do you usually work with?

Accepted Answer

I tend to work with organisations that already have something real in place. A website that’s live, a brand that’s being used, a product that people rely on. They’re not starting over, but they are ready to be more intentional about how things work and how decisions get made.

Question 3

Do I need to have everything figured out before we start?

Accepted Answer

No. You don’t need a perfect brief or a neatly packaged problem. Part of my role is helping you articulate what’s unclear, what’s drifting, and what actually matters right now. We work from what exists, not from an ideal version of things.

Question 4

What’s it like to work together?

Accepted Answer

It’s collaborative and practical. I’ll ask questions, show you what I’m seeing, and explain my thinking as we go. There’s no big reveal or disappearing act. The aim is that you understand the decisions being made and feel confident using the outcome afterwards.

Question 5

Will this just result in more things to fix?

Accepted Answer

The work is about focus, not overwhelm. With a website review the goal is to reduce noise and unnecessary effort, not create a longer to-do list. You’ll come away with a clearer sense of priorities and what’s actually worth your attention.

Question 6

Do you work with internal teams as well as founders?

Accepted Answer

Yes. I regularly work alongside internal teams, marketing leads, and stakeholders. I’m used to navigating different perspectives and helping teams align around user needs and practical constraints.

Question 7

How involved do we need to be?

Accepted Answer

You’ll need to be available for a small number of conversations and to share access to what already exists. Beyond that, I aim to respect your time. The work should make things easier to run, not harder to manage.

Question 8

What happens after the work is finished?

Accepted Answer

You’ll have clear outputs you can use. That might be findings, recommendations, refreshed assets, or systems you can apply going forward. The aim is that you’re better equipped to make future decisions without needing constant external input.
